Colin Dickey and Michelle Legro will take you on a haunted road trip across the United States. Building off of Dickey’s latest book, Ghostland: An American History in Haunted Places, they will move westward on a tour of some of America’s most famously haunted places. How have these places come to be seen as haunted? What are the true stories behind the legends that surround them? What do these ghost tales reveal about America’s anxieties, fears, and terrors?

Colin Dickey is the author of Ghostland: An American History in Haunted Places, as well as Cranioklepty: Grave Robbing and the Search for Genius and Afterlives of the Saints: Stories from the Ends of Faith. He is also the co-editor (with Joanna Ebenstein) of The Morbid Anatomy Anthology, and a member of the Order of the Good Death.
