This class is designed for beginners to learn professional level techniques used in small mammal taxidermy. This class will address both beginners and more advanced students, and cover all steps used in small mammal taxidermy from start to finish-students will learn proper skinning and fleshing procedures, how to split, turn and position facial features, including the ears and using earliners, proper dry preservation and tanning, and the traditional methods of sculpting a form using the age old technique of wrapped body, and reading the carcass as anatomical reference.
