This stellar event will be the One Year Anniversary of our very first Morbid Curiosity Singles Night! We’ve got a great crowd, a beautiful museum space, fun games and more!
Are you single, adventurous and interested in death culture, odd museums, taxidermy, medicine, art and history, or some combination of these topics? Dying to show off your knowledge of death, diseases and afflictions? Want to meet some like-minded New Yorkers and discuss fun topics like mourning photography or ethical taxidermy? Are you eager to make new connections, for dating and friendship? If you answered yes to any or all of these questions, we hope you’ll join us for our anniversary iteration of the wildly popular Morbid Curiosity: A Morbid Anatomy Singles Night!
We’ve got parlor games tailor-made for your off-beat interests, with themes like pathology, mythical creatures, Victorian crime reports, and medical procedures. Come meet interesting singles with whom you actually have something in common, fellow curiosity-seekers to join you on your next graveyard tour, or simply hang out and have a drink. You can find your significant other, make new friends, learn about our museum and events, or just mingle and chat with some pretty interesting people.
There will also be a Free Raffle of Random Objects. Past Objects have included a purple bobble-head calf figurine, a sexy brush and comb set, Morbid Anatomy Museum tote bags, and a chipped 1940s planter I found at Dead Horse Bay! You truly never know what will turn up in the prize basket.
This event is LGBTQ friendly as always! MAMu’s Morbid Curiosity events are all-inclusive for straight, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, pansexual, asexual, queer and intersex individuals.
No age maximum, all above 21 are welcome.
Fear not the bugaboo of social anxiety! Master of Ceremonies, our very own Whimsical Entomologist Daisy Tainton will be on hand to help break your conversational ice formations.
