Tonight’s illustrated lecture, the second in a two-part series, will address invention, innovation and intellectual property by way of an array of patents on surgical instruments and medical devices ranging from castration to masturbation and beyond. Attendees will be treated to a historical survey of technical advances in restraints, emasculatomes, and stimulators, just to name a few.
Eric Indin is a Registered Patent Attorney at an international law firm, and holds a law degree from Brooklyn Law School and a biomedical engineering degree from the Johns Hopkins University. In addition to procuring patents and trademarks for his clients in the medical device, toy and fashion industries, Eric is a writer, photographer, collector, mixed media artist, costume designer and fanatic fan of the fearful, fanciful and farcical.
