Stuart Fischer, M.D. is an author, medical expert, radio host, and media personality. His books include The Park Avenue Diet and The Little Book of Big Medical Emergencies as well as a forthcoming collection of short stories, The Invisible Worm That Flies in the Night. Dr. Fischer’s professional career has included an internal medicine residency at Maimonides Hospital, four years as an attending physician in the emergency room of Cabrini Medical Center, eight years as a colleague of legendary diet doctor Robert Atkins, and personalized nutritional consultations for thousands of appreciative patients and A-list celebrities.
