German Lyrical Soprano Kai Irina Hahn and Pianist Jeremy Rafal present to you a gloomy evening of some of the finest art songs. From Schubert to Debussy, enjoy the famous poems of the romantic period explained, recited and set to music in a candle light atmosphere with a glass of red wine.

German-American singer Kai Irina Hahn was born and raised in Germany. She studied theater in Berlin, Leipzig and Paris. Kai worked as an actress/assistant director for the Freilichtspiele Schwäbisch Hall and the Staatsschauspiel Dresden, directed numerous plays in Germany and the UK and toured with Andre Heller’s “Afrika Afrika” all over Europe. Her focus is on international, interactive theater, mythology and ritual. Kai is a lyrical Soprano and has specialized in art songs. With her move to New York City she expanded her repertoire from classical music to electronic music and joined synth pop band NOIR as a keyboarder and backup vocalist and founded the Dark Wave/EBM band The Sedona Effect. The first full length album “VORTICES” will be released end of the year. Kai also recently started working in film and starred in the short film “Chain of Hurt”.
